AOFO – Afghan Orphans Future Organization is a local Afghan-led organization established and officially registered in 2025 under registration number 6206 in Herat, Afghanistan.
Afghan Orphans Future Organization is a non-profit and humanitarian institution committed to improving the lives of orphaned children and vulnerable families across Afghanistan. We believe that every child deserves access to education, care, protection, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
The primary objective of Afghan Orphans Future Organization is to provide comprehensive support to orphaned children and underprivileged families by facilitating access to education, healthcare services, humanitarian assistance, and social support programs. The organization strives to create appropriate educational and developmental opportunities to ensure healthy growth, empowerment, and self-reliance for orphans, enabling them to become responsible and productive members of society.

The Story Behind AOFO
After decades of conflict, economic hardship, and social challenges in Afghanistan, many children have lost parental support and access to basic opportunities in life. Witnessing these difficult realities, the founders of AOFO felt a strong sense of social and humanitarian responsibility to create a local organization dedicated to supporting and empowering orphaned children and disadvantaged families.
AOFO was therefore established as a community-based initiative aimed at providing humanitarian assistance, educational support, and social development opportunities for those most in need. The organization believes that every child deserves the opportunity to grow in a safe environment and to have access to education, care, and equal opportunities for a better future.
Guided by the principles of human dignity, compassion, social justice, and equal opportunity, the Afghan Orphans Future Organization works to improve the quality of life of orphaned children through educational support programs, livelihood assistance, and community-based initiatives.
Through collaboration with local communities, national institutions, international partners, and generous donors, AOFO strives to build a brighter and more hopeful future for orphaned children across Afghanistan.
